Summer Never Ends #3

Aaron @ ElasticHrtr found another good mix! He often find sweet music that we all take a liking to. Plus it’s normally music that I haven’t heard before. That’s the most exciting when he post a mix. I consider myself musically inclined, but I’m a junior high kid compared to Aaron’s knowledge of music. He and Ryan Dee are like living databases for sounds and music titles from any artist, song, or genre.

There’s a bonus to this one too. Don’t miss it. Jens plugged in an Alicia Keys song, “You Don’t Know My Name.” In the song Alicia is on the phone and Jens decided he will have one of his friend reply to her with a dorky Germanish, Swedish sorta voice. It has to be the most hilarious thing I’ve heard in a long time. It’s well worth downloading the mixtape just for that reason alone.

But as always Aaron makes another sweet cover art. You can go get it at Jens Lekman’s site. Enjoy!

Refills

You have to appreciate witty creative ideas that are sweet. I love the ending when the guy in boxer fell down at the tape, he kissed the lady–didn’t break a stride, jump on his stud, and set the eagle free to sore–the earth. Fun video! Via the Case.

I love how designer Jarred Bishop pushed the limits of the web. Notice the background as you scroll how the images are of the post, but only appears with it’s respective content. Unbelievable.

I laughed so hard after listening to these kids play the theme song of 2001. I’m not sure. But I ended up listening to this about five times and some how found some genius in it. You will need volume.

A unique video explains Google Chrome features and what it’s all about. I love the depth in the video. It had to take a lot of planning.

This morning a friend sent me the funniest Local Commercial video I have ever seen in my entire life. The guys over at I Love Local Commercials are hilarious. The best one is “Cullman Liquidation” a painfully honest and epic mobile home commercial.

At first the Weezer Snuggie infomercial looked just like the original, but as me and a colleague continued to watch it…we found out that the Snuggie Infomercial is a spoof. So darn genius! You have to watch it.
